Zoë Isaacs makes pottery to bring beauty into everyday life. She creates functional pieces that serve a basic need as well as encouraging a little attention and care. She works from her home studio in Island Bay, Te-Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa. She uses a variety of clays from Aotearoa, thrown using a manual kick wheel and is always experimenting with new forms, glazes and patterns.
Thrown on a kick-wheel with clay dug from the garden where I grew up, a short walk from my studio in Island Bay, Te Whanaganui-a-Tara Wellington. The clay has been minimally processed, and some small rocks in the clay have melted and made a textured surface.
Available in a matte cream glaze and matte dark brown glaze.
Dimensions: approx. 9cm height and 21.5cm diameter
Dishwasher safe, hand washing recommended.
